[MADERA] — David Giglio, the Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in California’s 13th Congressional District, released the following statement in response to the Bureau of Labor Statistics report revealing inflation hit a 40-year high this month:
“As a small business owner, I understand wages are not keeping up with the rising cost of living in the Valley,” Mr. Giglio said. “Voters are feeling the pain from the grocery store to the gas pump.
“With energy prices soaring 27 percent over the last 12 months, voters will hold ‘Gas Tax Gray’ accountable for casting the deciding vote to approve the state gas tax, further plundering voters’ paychecks," Mr. Giglio added. "Unfortunately, this was not one of the 3 in 10 controversial votes from which Adam Gray hid."
