MADERA, CA – Republican Candidate for California’s 13th Congressional District David Giglio released the following statement regarding internal polling showing the campaign is in a strong position to defeat Adam Gray in the 2022 General Election:
“Based on internal polling, it is clear that our team’s hard work on the ground over the last year has paid dividends. The numbers confirm our belief that we are in a strong position to defeat Democrat Adam Gray in this year’s crucial midterm elections.
Based on a survey of 529 registered voters in California’s new 13th Congressional District, which incorporates Fresno, Madera, Merced, Stanislaus, and San Joaquin counties, we found that in the pivotal battle for name recognition, our campaign and message has resonated with voters.
Of voters who said they were “very familiar” with a candidate, we found little difference between our campaign, Adam Gray, and other potential Republican hopefuls. When factoring in voters who said they were “somewhat familiar” with a candidate, we beat or were statistically tied with all other potential Republican challengers and hopefuls.
Based on this data and armed with a strong fundraising foundation, we are confident that the voters of the 13th District will choose us as the Republican to challenge and defeat Adam Gray in the 2022 General Election.”
