Hi, I’m David Giglio, the Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in California’s 13th District. As a Catholic, like all Christians, I look forward each year to celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
This Easter, let us ask God to Bless those less fortunate than us, those who are going without basic needs not willingly as an act of faith, but unwillingly due to events outside of their control.
Let us not forget that so many of our fellow Americans are suffering under a cost of living crisis. While we may disagree, I pray our president and those blinded by ideology will see the very clear path we’ve laid out to ease their suffering.
As He did in life, Jesus willingly went to the cross putting God’s will and the welfare of all humankind first. Even facing death, He was the ultimate public servant.
Those who seek or are blessed enough to hold public office, should always strive to emulate His selfless acts to which we now pay homage. I pray our leaders find the courage to do so.
